How are my professional portrait photos taken at the graduation ceremony?2024-04-18T01:21:41+00:00

At your graduation ceremony, we will have several photo studios available for you to have your professional portrait photos taken. No bookings are required. Sessions are complimentary and you are under no obligation to purchase the photos. You are welcome to bring family and friends with you also.

Your photograph will be taken as you receive your award on stage. Our staff will brief you before your ceremony begins to ensure you know when and where your photo will be taken.

Your photos will be available on our website 2 workings day after your event. You are required to register online with us before, during or after your event in order to view them. All information concerning your event, including login details to access your proofs, will be emailed to your reregistered email address. You can register now by completing an online form for QUT here and for all other events here.

Do you have any advice for what I should wear to the graduation ceremony?2024-04-18T01:21:20+00:00

Please remember that your graduation gown is open at the front and your clothes will be partly visable so it is important to consider what you wear under your gown. If you wish you can co-ordinate your clothing with your faculty colours. Contact your institution for more gowning information.

Do you take graduation photographs at your office studio too?2024-04-18T01:21:16+00:00

We offer private sittings at our West End Studio all year round. We have a large range of academic dress at our studio. These sittings are suitable for graduates who are not able to attend their ceremony, run out of time on the day or perhaps have a special family member who isn’t able to attend the ceremony. Private Sittings are $85 and by appointment only. You can arrange a booking by emailing us at enquiries@elitephotos.com.au

Do you keep archives of your graduation photos?2024-04-18T01:21:12+00:00

Your photos remain online for 6 months from the time of your event. After this, they are archived for a minimum of 3 years. Please contact us, confirm the date of your event and we will check our records for you.

How can I order graduation photos from the archives?2024-04-18T01:21:08+00:00

A $25 archive retrievel fee applies to all orders placed from our archives. If you have kept a record of your proofs, simply contact us and request an Archive Ordering Pack and confirm the event and the images you would like to order.
If you have not kept your proofs, then we can complete a Manual Search for you and provide the images as digital proofs.

How long will my order take to be processed?2024-04-18T01:21:03+00:00

For standard orders of prints and digital files allow 5 working days for processing. Specialty products may take longer and their timeframes vary. Postage time is additional.

How are the photos delivered?2024-04-18T01:20:59+00:00

Most orders are dispatched and handled by Australia Post according to their delivery timeframes.  We offer the following postage options.

  • Standard Delivery within Australia – not trackable
  • Registered Delivery within Australia – trackable by consignment number
  • International Delivery outside Australia – trackable by consignment number

Under Standard Delivery Australia Post staff will determine how best to deliver your package. At times they may choose to leave a calling-card advising you to collect your package from the local post office. International Delivery timeframes vary depending on the country’s postal system. It is best to allow 2-4 weeks.

You may also choose to collect your order directly from our Studio at Indooroopilly during our opening hours.

What if my photos are damaged in the mail?2024-04-18T01:20:55+00:00

All of our photo products are securely packaged including rigid support card and are sealed in plastic. Should your goods be damaged in transit, please contact Elite Photographics as soon as you receive them.

At your formal venue, we will have several photo studios available for you to have your professional photos taken. No bookings are required, sessions are complimentary and you are under no obligation to purchase the photos. Our roving photographer is available for special large group requests including friendship groups, form and subject class photos.

Will there be time for family photos?2024-04-18T01:20:35+00:00

Our photo studios will be open 1 hour before your formal event begins. If your school allows for it, we encourage you to bring your family members with you for photos at this time – the earlier the better! Please check with your school as to whether parents and/or family are permitted at your formal.

How do I view & order my formal photos?2024-04-18T01:20:29+00:00

Your photos will be available on our website 2 working days after your event. You will be required to register your email address with us before your event date. All information concerning your event, including login details to access your photos, will be sent to the email address you register with. A link to register for your Formal will be sent to you directly from your school – if you have not received this link by the date of your event, please contact your school.
